Please join us for the Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation’s 9th Annual Play it FOREward Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, March 28th, at the Bayou Oaks South Course in New Orleans, LA.
The Brett Thomas Doussan Foundation is a local charity created in 2014. Its mission is to raise mental health awareness by means of advocacy, education, and music.
Through our endeavors in the Greater New Orleans area and across the Gulf South, we hope to keep the legacy of our beloved friend, Brett Thomas Doussan, alive in the community that fostered his deep passion and appreciation for music.
Your participation in the charity golf tournament will help fund the Behavioral Health Unit and Clinic of Children’s Hospital, the New Orleans chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic, regional chapters of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Loyola University’s Music Therapy scholarship program and Center for Counseling and Education, LSU Behavioral Science Center and the Music for Mental Illness school program.
